Gewurztraminer Les Funambules Alsace France 2020

Fresh and fruity, delicate, notes of grapefruit, Lychee, apple, bone dry Gewürztraminer. We have fallen in love with this producer’s wines, the one thing we love is its not overbearing has tension and acidity, something that can be lacking in a Gewurz. Perfect for pork & spicy cuisine .

Producer: Les funambules, another micro production on the list of a few thousand bottles made per year. Their Terroir includes some Grand Cru and they specialise in Gewürztraminer. Alsace is one of the driest parts of France and they are doing a lot of work with underground fungi networks (don’t ask) but the end results in less hydric stress.
