Dark, black cherry colour. Dense structured, savoury. Blackberry, tapenade, liquorice ripe and fine tannins. Please decant at least an hour before drinking and pop to the butcher for a good cut of beef.
Producer; Pierre Gonon, took over the vines of the founding member of the Saint Joseph appellation Raymond Trollat. Making wines quite differently to his predecessor, his wines are very structured and need time.
